"Wanted - Dead AND Alive!" is our theme, for two fun-packed Jesus-centred Easter shows for children, available for free on Youtube. Songs, Bible, Quizzes, and Maynard and David. Part 1 looks at Good Friday, Part 2 at Easter Day. Kids love them, so share them and enjoy them. Especially good for Shelter-at-home or lockdown kids.
We're all looking for someone to follow, to like, an influencer to make a difference - well, now you're found Him! "Jesus is the Best King" is a joyful, happy Christian children's song exalting Jesus for being the best and being the answer in all sorts of ways. It's great for kids' worship or family worship or children's church. You can use it in your pre-recorded video events - ask if you're not sure Click here to watch the video. There are some new words to "Hush! There's a Baby..."! Loads of people love the song, but some would rather not say "shut" and "up" in the same breath, so there are new words so that you don't have to! HOORAY!
"There's a danger - that we'll wake this sleepy boy, he's such good news we jump with joy!" is the new couplet. I hope you like it, and that you can use it. In particular, it preserves the whole meaning of the song, which is that on the one hand you want to be quiet, because here's a sleeping baby, but on the other hand you want to jump around and make loads of noise because he's so brilliant. So brilliant that you just can't
shut up! Oops!
This is perfect for a Pentecost Service, or your online Kids Club. I've done a new Acoustic version with Actions (Motions) - it's on YouTube:
It's based on Galatians 5:22-23, where Paul describes the impact that the Holy Spirit has on a believer's life - the fruit of the Spirit. Great fun for children to sing in your praise and worship times, and solid Bible stuff so you won't go astray!
Strange really - it was Bad, it was Mad, and it was Sad - but all in all, it was a GOOD day for all of us. The day that Jesus died on the Cross, Good Friday. That's the wonder of Easter - and that's what the song Good Friday is all about.
It's from Mark 15:33-39, with the darkness, Jesus' cry, and the centurion's words. It's great for kids of age 5 and upwards, and even the grown-ups enjoy it!
You can listen for free on the Jukebox, watch the YouTube Video, download the MP3 music from the store, get the PDF Sheet music for free, or get "Good Friday" on the Easter CD. Hope you enjoy singing it!
