What's going on with Maynard's Groovy Bible Tunes, from day to day...
The YouTube Hit "Hush! There's a baby..."
is also available on iTunes,
in its new re-mixed and re-mastered 2013 version!
And you can get it on Google Play and on Amazon:
Don't forget - the best place to get it is right here! Listen on the Jukebox, get the MP3s and Videos from the store.
I've just finished re-recording "It's a boy!", one of my Christmas songs.
"It's a boy!" had the oldest recordings, done back in 2006 on Cubase 5, and although they weren't that bad, the vocal was a bit wobbly, and I need to be able to get hold of 24-bit un-mastered versions, which I couldn't. SO... I had to re-record.
In the meantime, I decided to get rid of the "classic / groovy" distinction (there were two recordings), the new version is both classic, AND groovy (of course).
AND it's gone up a semitone, making Bb the lowest note now - easier for my tenor voice, and the kids I think! AND I've re-done the sheet music too. So a lot of work.
Have a listen - It's on the Jukebox, and in the store.
Now, why do I need 24-bit un-mastered versions of the Christmas songs? That's another story - 5 more to go!
The YouTube video for "Hush, there's a baby!" has just his 200,000 views!
I know it's not Justin Bieber, but it's still pretty good - see for yourself - and share with your friends:
... is on its way.
In fact, both new songs are recorded and will be on any "Facts not Fairy Tales" CD ordered from today!
I've just got to sort out the Sheet Music some time before I can get the MP3 files out...
I'm busily recording a new Christmas song today - "Go Go Go Go Gold!" is about the Wise Men / Magi / Kings and their gifts for Jesus.
Hopefully it'll be out soon...
