What's going on with Maynard's Groovy Bible Tunes, from day to day...
You want to sing a song with kids, so you want to project the words and play the backing track or even the full track alongside it. But you don’t want to have to keep clicking to move slides because you’ll be doing the motions / actions. What can you do?
Don’t worry – help is at hand. With powerpoint you can ‘teach’ the slideshow your timings so that the slides will advance automatically at exactly the right time.
Don’t forget, the words and music recordings here at MGBT are copyright material, so you can only use these slideshows or videos in accordance with copyright. You can use them at church or with your kids club - but you can't share them or give or sell them to someone else. If you have a CCLI licence, please report the use of the words and music online with them.
For an example, let’s use “God’s Word is the Bible”
Here are the lyrics:
Watching reports pop up of “great children’s song…” from Facebook and Twitter, it seems that 'sound' parents want their kids only to sing Bible verses set to music. That is, actual Bible verses (ESV or NIV) squeezed onto notes.
Funny thing is, we don’t demand the same for ourselves. We sing “Amazing Grace” with gusto, and “10,000 reasons” from our hearts.

He (& I) could spend all day tapping his fingers on the table, or.... we could sing! Here are 5 great songs to help:
Have a great day everyone - and don't panic, whatever happens with your Exam Results: Jesus the Lord of Heaven and Earth still loves you and gave himself for you!
Doing a little research with Google Analytics, and it turns out that no-one clicks the "Jukebox" link in the menu. What "Jukebox" link, you say? Or maybe you say: "What's a Jukebox?!"
There's no "Jukebox" link there now, because I've changed it to "The Songs". I've always called the Songs page "The Jukebox" because I designed it to work like one - there's a button for each song, click a button, and the song you want plays and shows you the lyrics and actions. So I assumed that "The Jukebox" would be a good name for the page and the menu. I guess that people looking for Children's Bible Songs are just not interested in Jukeboxes!!!
Let's see if "The Songs" works better...
