What's going on with Maynard's Groovy Bible Tunes, from day to day...
Went on the website this morning to check the actions for "It's treasure", and... there weren't any!
Argh!
So - after successfully doing actions with KS1 at school this morning, I've now put them up on the Jukebox - "It's treasure" on the Jukebox
Mandy has emailed asking about songs for Scripture Union's "Champion's Challenge" Holiday Club.
How about these for ideas:
And these aren't so sporty, but go down well at our holiday clubs:
... as well as EVERY OTHER SONG, of course!
We're singing this song at HotShots today - and I was just having a look on the website and I discovered... it's not on there!
Duh - I wrote this for Summer HotShots 2009, and I haven't recorded it yet - beyond the backing track I used for the Summer Club. Unbelievable. I'd better get on with it, hadn't I?
Yes - I'm having a great time. I've done one week at "Backpackers" in Chesham, Bucks (UK), and I'm half way through our very own "HotShots" here in Frogmore, St Albans.
We've been singing two new songs at HotShots - both about TREASURE, since that's our theme.
"It's treasure" is a bouncy general song, based around Philippians 3:8 (and its the first time I've managed to get an F major chord into a song in D - nice!).
"Where's your treasure?" is a bit more unusual, and specifically themed to our 4-day series with verses for each day. One day (...) I'll get them onto the website - and you can enjoy them too!
