What we see
2 Corinthians 4v18
Watching Paula Radcliffe fade out of the 2004 Olympic Marathon, I thought: that's what happens when your hope is set on something temporary - no gold, no point continuing. 2 Cor 4:18 reminds us that, with Jesus, we've got our eyes set on a hope that is eternal, even tho we can't see it.So we can keep going, whatever. Thanks Jesus! 1,4. What we see, it's temporary! It doesn't last, and it will end. What we can't see: it is eternal: it is forever, and ever, Amen! 2. Burger and Chips? We can see them. Munch munch munch, and they are gone. Mobile phones, trendy clothes, and computers; they break down, they wear out, crash bang boom! 3. Can't see Jesus, and he's forever. His forgiveness? Invisible! And his love? Oh his love: we cannot see it! But it always, it always is there.
